SCAD students Morgan Eng (producer/writer) and LJ Burnett (director/writer) are nominated for an animated piece they created titled Time Flies.

Time Flies is a fast-paced animation adventure in which two flies with opposite personalities struggle to make the most of their 24-hour lifespan. The energetic A-fly rushes to complete every activity on a massive bucket list, whereas the introspective Z-fly searches for a deeper meaning, only to spiral into existential dread. As the sun starts to set, the flies panic that their time is running out. But in the end, a death-defying encounter forces them both to live in the moment while they still can.

In addition, SCAD student Erika Totoro is nominated for an animation she wrote, produced and directed titled Le Charade.

Le Charade is a jazzy animated piece about an unemployed mime who is grappling with his future. Struggling to break from his ingrained routine and feeling like an outcast, the mime must navigate the psychosis of his mind as he scouts for a new profession in the city.

Brigham Young University students Brielle Hansen (producer) and Spencer Baird (director and writer) are nominated in the Animation Series category for their animated film titled Student Accomplice. The comedic animation features a nervous teen who is taking her driving test when a bank robber decides to use her as his getaway driver, which leads to a hilarious high-octane car chase.
