The new DC Universe adult animated series Creature Commandos is debuting on December 5 on Max courtesy of James Gunn (executive producer, writer, and, ahem, DC Studios co-chair and CEO). The superhero show features the voices of Frank Grillo (“Rick Flag Sr.”), Maria Bakalova (“Princess Ilana”), David Harbour (“Eric Frankenstein”), Indira Varma (“the Bride”), Zoë Chao (“Nina Mazursky”), Sean Gunn (“GI Robot” and “Weasel”), Steve Agee (“Economos”), Alan Tudyk (“Dr. Phosphorus”), and Viola Davis (“Amanda Waller”). So we interviewed the Creature Commandos cast recently about what it’s like to play monsters who could be heroes… or heroes who aren’t really monsters… or just what exactly is going on with these weirdos.
